Clyde Davis, Jr. delivered three touchdown passes to lead UPrep to a shutout victory in the sectional quarterfinals. The senior quarterback completed 13-of-18 passes for 151 yards and connected with Mark McClary twice and Dekahri Carter once for a score. McClary reeled in six receptions for 89 yards while Carter’s lone catch was the 19-yard score. Senior running back Raykim Chenier commanded the trenches with 139 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Carter and Nazir Wynn both registered seven tackles to lead the defense. Wynn added two tackles for loss and a 40-yard scoop-and-score. Carter picked off a pass and returned it 15 yards. Senior defensive tackle Sharod Watkins followed up with six and a half tackles, including one and a half for lost yardage, and a forced fumble. Junior linebacker Christopher Jean chipped in five tackles, including one for loss. UPrep advances to the sectional semifinals to take on No. 3 seed Webster Schroeder.

Cameron McClinic and Jesse Reinhart both totaled two touchdowns to lead a balanced Batavia effort as the Blue Devils concluded the regular season with back-to-back wins. The senior quarterback wasted no time putting the team on the board with a 25-yard strike to Aidan Anderson four minutes into the match. Then Reinhart capped off a 21-point opening period with a one-yard keeper near the end of the quarter. The 6-foot-2 senior finished with 60 all-purpose yards, including 53 through the air.
